Lewes Live 2016, which was set to take place earlier this month had to be cancelled at the last minute after its site at Lower Stoneham Farm flooded during storms. Festival organisers apologised for the disruption and have promised to refund all tickets and booking fees. If you purchased a ticket from The Dorset, The Gardeners, Martin’s, The Newsagents or are a member of Cliffe Bonfire Society you can get your ticket refunded at the Dorset in Malling Street this weekend. Festival organisers will be available to give refunds from 7pm to 9pm on Friday (July 29), from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm on Saturday (July 30) and from 4pm to 6pm on Sunday (July 31). Tickets bought online were refunded automatically. Earlier this month a spokesman for the festival said: “Unfortunately, due to the adverse weather conditions over the past few weeks, the site is still under water and not draining quickly enough. This means we are unable to get the infrastructure in place in time for this weekend. We have tried to source an alternative site but our attempts have been unsuccessful. “We can only apologise for any inconvenience this will cause to your plans this weekend.
